great watch - buy it!

this is a great watch - perfect for summer. I wanted to buy the less expensive one but kept reading about how it picked up colors and rubbed off color from things and figured I would want it for more than just one summer.... looks great - wears great and I could not find it in the stores either where I live or in Chicago - they had other versions but not this one and I like this one - it is large but not excessively flashy. the other thing I like about the ceramic is that is is very white but you can wear it with cream and there is just enough color in it that it does not clash. enjoy!More detail ...

The band is a nightmare.

I purchased this watch for my wife as she has metal allergies and this watch has a ceramic band. The band is the 'weak link' no pun intended. It requires a $20 tool to adjust it and is not a simple task for someone with sausage fingers like myself. Also the band links are **very** brittle as the clasp link shattered after a fall off the nightstand (two days after I gave it to her).



It does come with a warranty but the turnaround time (according to their site) is 6-8 WEEKS.



Another disappointing watch purchase from Amazon. Next year she's getting something else instead of jewelery.More detail ...

I wanted a ceramic Michael Kors watch but couldn't part with the money those watches ask for. I work in an environment that demands use of my hands and arms yet I wanted a substantial watch that would hold up to my daily use. This one fits all my qualififications!!! It is BEAUTIFUL stylish and I get compliments galore!!!! It's large size falls into the present "boyfriend" watch craze. It is large and easy to set. The weekday and numerical dates are large and simple to read. The extra links were easy for my jeweler to remove and give me a better fit!! The clasp is very substantial and sturdy for the size and weight of this timepiece. It is similar in weight and balance of an Invicta style watch. Watches are one of my favorite accessories to wear. Some women like purses and shoes...I collect watches and this ONISS ceramic is a perfect addition to my collection!!! Great value and lovely work of art!!!! Beautiful

I just received this item. I can't testify to durability yet but I'm tickled pink. It arrived quickly with nice packaging. I ordered Thursday and received it Monday with the least expensive shipping. It is a little bigger than I thought but I'm not complaining. If this one is 33mm including the bezel/crown the other ones I considered (in the 38-42mm range) must be huge. So if weight/size is a problem remember that ceramic can be a bit heavy. Also if you're looking for something small feminine and dainty I'd keep looking. This particular model isn't for you. Personally I like sort of masculine watches for women. This one is so large in fact I initially suspected I may have been sent the men's version by mistake. But I checked out the model numbers and measured it and sure enough it is a women's and the measurements listed are accurate.



The ceramic looks great- very classy and chic. I did notice that the 30 is upside down on this watch but if you look closely its like that in the pictures too and there are several other nice brands like Seiko that do the same thing for some reason. I suspected it could be a fake but investigated enough to reassure myself that is not the case here. I also looked into reviews of the brand on several sites and found nothing but good things. I've only seen one negative review and that was because the person it was gifted to disliked how it looked. Like that's the manufacturer/sellers fault?



I hope it lasts awhile as it is just what I've been wanting for a long time. Most similar ones that I've seen were way too rich for my blood. After a lot of searching this one was by far the best deal I think you could find for a nice brand with ceramic. Sure you can get less expensive look a-likes but I'd rather spend a little more now and not have to replace/repair it as soon. I looked into plastic resin colored stainless and silicone and saw repeated complaints on all of them- plastic breaks quickly silicone discolors and colored metal flakes and scratches though they all said they looked nice to start with. The ceramic should not have a problem with that as it is much stronger. I am also allergic to nickel. I don't usually have a problem with most stainless watches except with cheaper ones or if the coating flakes off I get irritation under the band. While this still has SS clasp and case backing the overall amount touching my skin is less and therefore decreases my chances of reacting to it even further. And the higher quality should help.



I love it. I will update if it has any problems I don't expect. I just need to get a couple of links removed. I'm very happy with the purchase and it arrived so fast I'm impressed by the seller. I would definitely buy from them again.More detail ...

heavy beautiful

i'm a woman and bought this for myself because i'm large-boned and i like the chunky look but it was just too big. the watch face took up the whole back of my wrist. this is a beautiful piece even nicer than i thought it would be and very heavy. gave it to my brother for his birthday--not sure how a guy would feel about the white color but he absolutely loved it! I recently purchased this really beautiful watch. I had been shopping around for a white ceramic watch and most of them are just too large very heavy and extremely expensive. OMG! This one is perfection! The crystals look like diamonds and sparkle more than the real diamonds on another watch I own. When I had a link taken out the jeweler said he had never heard of or seen a white ceramic watch at this price. He was very impressed and so am I. It is just gorgeous!! Ladies you cannot go wrong! I have a small wrist and this 34mm size is just perfect for me. Most of the ceramics are 39mm and larger which overwhelm a small wrist. Why not save the thousands of dollars you would spend on a "C" watch and go to Paris instead!! I'm so thrilled to find this and I highly recommend it. Great Value

This watch is a great value. I gave it to my wife as a present and she loved it. She says that she's already gotten a few complements on the watch.



Pros: Not as expensive as the other ceramic watches you see out there. Mother of pearl face looks GREAT the picture does not do it justice. Fossil seems to be a solid watch maker so I don't expect problems. It's easy to resize if you have a precision screw driver. Its face is large so it makes a nice visual impact.



Cons: As with all link bands the size might not be perfect. My wife seems to be in-between two sizes. Although the band seems to be solid ceramic the case has ceramic material only on the top. The sides of the casing are stainless steel. This kind of detracts from the shiny ceramic look but it still looks great.

Absolutely Perfect!

This watch is awesome. There is no other way to describe it. I've been looking at ceramic watches for the past couple of weeks and hands down this is the best one I've seen. The finish on it is beautiful with a hint of a pearlescent sheen. The face is very pretty and the diamonds are a beautiful touch. When I took it to the jeweler today to have the band sized he remarked on how expensive it looked. In looking at ceramic watches one of the problems I've faced with other brands--like the Peugeot and the Michael Kors--is that they are so huge. I have a small wrist so these watches look totally ridiculous on me. This watch is the perfect size. It still has an "oversize" look and feel but it's not nearly as big as the TOYWATCH (which I know is "plasteramic")that I originally thought about getting. It's versatile enough to dress up or down.
